So does Thom Hartmann really want to keep writing for this racist, sexist Daily Caller site?

On his website, Thom Hartmann linked to this new column he's doing for Tucker Carlson's Daily Caller website "Liberally Yours". Thom's debut column as the Lone Liberal on the site (like his Lone Liberal Rumble segment on his Big Picture RT TV show) is: "Should the Post Office be in charge of your emails?" arguing that the USPS should be allowed to create an encrypted email service. It also has a rebuttal by the DC's own J. Arthur Bloom. This column is based on a debate Thom had on his Aug. 14 radio show with DC executive editor Tim Cavanaugh:

Then today I have learned TWO disturbing ways the Daily Caller generates traffic:

First the "Obama doesn't have white dogs" story (never mind though that albino pets may have health problems); then this I found via the New Civil Rights Movement blog: an article named "Barack Obama: the first female president" by Mark Judge. Wow, after seeing this, I wonder if someone as principled and classy as Thom Hartmann really wants to keep writing for a website that attracts lowlife scum readers with such inflammatory, bigoted headlines and story topics?

Even though I understand his motivation, I don't know how he can put up with the smug idiocy of the repugs he has on his FSTV program. He is much more patient than I would be.

on his show. It is great entertainment. When he slaps them silly with facts, they start screaming and talking over him and they run away. I only wish more Democrats had the spine to do what he does. His articles at the Daily Caller are probably the only truthful pieces over there. Are you against exposing Republicans to a little reality once in a while?
