The anti-1% subtext of Allen's Blue Jasmine

While this is a modern retelling of Williams' Streetcar with some Maddoff thrown in I also found it as an indictment of the 1%.
Class is a major component of the movie and Allen's portrayal of the elite/Hamptonite upper class as ruthless, snobbish people with an unrelenting feeling of entitlement is prevalent throughout.
