Valerie Plame was an American CIA agent . . . Miranda is the SO of journalist. Is there something I'm missing with the UK? Are you saying/hinting that Miranda is a part of their intelligence organization?

BTW- notice Manning gets 35 years but Rove - that vile little traitor is walking around free after what he did to Valerie Plame - putting her life in danger?

Obama, the US govt, and the UK govt. They didn't target Plame because she was a CIA agent; it was because her husband had shown the US government were lying, and they needed to 'send a message' to anyone considering doing it again.

Yeah, Rove and others involved in that operation did more damage to American national security than Manning ever did.

She wasn't JUST a wifey poo. Read her book - Fair Game: My Life as a Spy, My Betrayal by the White House. They pretty much told the 'bad guys' to come and get her - an esteemed and experienced CIA Agent.

That's why we have to keep clear on Miranda.

Each can stand on it's own 'lack of merit' by their persecutors.

Lumping him into the same exact situation as one of the insiders (CIA agent - Plame) being thrown to the wolves could potentially weaken the argument in his favor.

Make sense? Because then you'll get creative speculationists who make stuff up about him being some kind of double agent to discredit him.
