"I've noticed how liberals ALWAYS want proof..." (1.1MB graphic)

So ends this beautiful Facebook thread in which a very dear friend of mine completely shut down an OP whining about how the Obama regime is fixing gas prices.

My pal doesn't usually end up in FB discussions like this, but sometimes the temptation to watch a few mental circuits go pop-sputter-kaploing is just too great. My friend, one "Darren Cassidy" comes in near the end...

The truly sad part is that fact-proof people like the OP are getting ready to fight.

...is that it was quick back-and-forth with the OP until he was asked for evidence to support his statement. It then took an hour for him to come up with the "liberal-gene" non-sequitur.

they want to get back...you know...the ones they've lost under Obama.

Let me know if you get an answer!!!

btw, the Seattle Times is my paper and I think the Blethens do a really good job with reporting. I don't always agree with them but they seem very even-handed, thank goodness!

Yet still hold that Bush was a legitimate President, even though exit polls were different enough from election results to call things into question.

:sigh:

Other times, it just lays there, gasping.

This is what followed the "evil-foreign-muzzies" and "liberal-gene" Chewbacca-defense. This guy could not find one source to support his OP.

Very lazy...

bantering around racist comments like "foreign muzzies"

At any rate, it was speculation that caused gas to be $4+ a gallon last time (2008)....same as this time. They feel comfortable enough with the economy to do it again...

...but since the OP refused to provide any sources for his opinion, I guess the assumption was made that it came from Faux.

Hence that lovely photo of bin-Talal

One of the posters on that thread ("algee&quot is in DC's friend list and thanks to Facebook's ever-changing interface, DC now sees threads that friends comment on.

This new feature can be turned off, but it is rare that DC is subjected to crap like that. Plus it was kinda fun watching people realize that they either don't know where their opinion comes from or are too ashamed to admit it.

who's this Marshall Law dude they keep blathering about.

Freaks in a clown car.

I once had a conversation with an acquaintance who kept repeating FAUX talking-points whilst denying ever having watched FAUX. I told him, "yannow? When one repug leader says something every single repug out in the wild slowly nods his/her head (I slowly nodded my head with a glazed expression) and slowly repeats the same thing, word for word, inflection for inflection, without ever once thinking it through. It's freaky as hell. Cut it out!"

After reading all of his posts, and the others of his ilk, I find it utterly hilarious that he claims "liberalism" is the mental disorder. Yeah, yeah. I know. They do love to project.

. . . classist, racist, think the corporate owned media leans left despite not having one channel on air that even leans completely moderate, think the voting in 2008 was rigged despite a lopsided victory in the Electoral and somewhat mandated victory in the popular, doesn't even question the OBVIOUS rigging/compromising of the vote by Republican operatives in 2000 and 2004, still fighting the Cold War, loading up on guns and ammo and preparing for the coming armageddon (biblical fearmongering at work there), "Soetoro" = Birfer, Sherrif Joe fans (birfers), sees only one Semi-Democratic guy with money (Soros) while completely ignoring the myriad of openly fascist ones REALLY pulling the strings . . .
