Gibbs zings Gingrich


Former White House press secretary Robert Gibbs on Sunday zinged Republican presidential candidate Newt Gingrich for criticizing the administration's actions in Afghanistan.

Gibbs, who's now advising President's Barack Obama's campaign, said on CNN's “State of the Union” Sunday that the Obama administration is trying to defuse current tensions in the country and that Gingrich is not someone many people would look to for leadership on foreign policy issues.

“If there’s a problem on a lunar colony, he’ll be among the first we call,” Gibbs said.
