Mike Huckabee is so fed up with hearing President Obama claim that the Republicans have made preventing people "from getting health care their holy grail," he is calling on the GOP to adopt an innovative solution to solving the nation's health care crisis: cure cancer!

The Emperor of All Maladies and read it. Cancer is not just one thing, and more funding spent would be nice, but it is hardly a solution to the healthcare crisis.

What Mrs. Obama is doing emphasizing healthy eating and exercise could have a greater effect. Behavioral changes could do more than medical breakthroughs. Stopping the subsidy for unhealthy foods would also be a great place to start.

You want a place to start spending serious money - look at how to get ahead of evolution in bacteria. Folks forget what it was like before the days of antibiotics and those days are coming back.
