7. Hell no. Russia's been selling weapons to Syria since '56 and have a navy base

there. They are also partners in a pipeline there. Russia and the Assad family go way back. Russia also exports over $1B to Syria annually and has been pouring money into refurbishing its naval base there.

Russia also has an EW SIGINT site at Latakia and an airbase at Tadmur (Palmyra).

They have arms sales contracts of $4.4B with Syria annually.

So fuck no.
