Congratulations New Mexico! Judge rules in favor of marriage equality!

I just heard this on Rachel, so no link. But as of 8 am tomorrow people of the same sex can get marriage licenses! Apparently they made up 1000 marriage licenses, just in case.

First Dona Ana, then Santa Fe, and now the most heavily populated county, Bernalillo. Eventually it will spread out to the more rural counties.

Might come as a shock in some areas but there it is. I'm happy for them. I love New Mexico and this will be good, I hope.

it's been in the works since June. No one has been able to find a loophole to keep it illegal so the preachers would be happy.

It's been all over the news here, radiant couples on the front page of all the newspapers, etc.

I knew it was going to happen. It had to.
