Check in if you want Summers for Fed Chair

If Summers is appointed there will be some who will say it was GENIUS and BRAZILLION-DIMENSIONAL CHESS.

But Summers is already Summers, and the economy is already the economy, so it is hardly too soon to have an opinion.

If Summers WILL BE a great pick in the event that he gets picked, would anyone care to say before the fact thast he SHOULD BE picked?

"There are no... limits to the carrying capacity of the earth that are likely to bind any time in the foreseeable future. There isn't a risk of an apocalypse due to global warming or anything else. The idea that we should put limits on growth because of some natural limit, is a profound error and one that, were it ever to prove influential, would have staggering social costs."

“We should not oppose offshoring or outsourcing,”

"One of the reasons that inequality has probably gone up in our society is that people are being treated closer to the way that they’re supposed to be treated."

Good guy that Summers. Hell, why not let Jeffrey Skilling run the thing instead?

And neo-liberals at worst?

Unlike you I'm not afraid of dissent. It wouldn't be the first time Clinton and Obama were wrong.

It seems the media claims it's between those two. However, I would rather neither are appointed and someone like Paul Krugman is.

But if I had to pick between Summers or Yellen, I'd pick Summers.
