If the U.S. must police the world again, how about we pay for it this time with a war tax?

One with no cuts or offsets to domestic spending. No more wars on the credit card. Maybe this will make us all think twice about another middle east mistake.

Republicans love to bleat about offsetting costs. They should be in full support of this tax, right?

Yes, I am including the poor because we need them to be motivated to outrage as well. Also, you don't want just the rich to pay for it because they might not mind the higher taxes.

The cost of ONE cruise missile is 1.4 MILLION dollars. How many people could that feed here in the United States? How many prescriptions could that pay for?

in the social safety net to offset all costs of waging war. Also for cuts in the social safety net to cover the cost of all cleanup should Yellowstone blow during this republic's existence.
