No? All Snowden and Greenwald conflated with Chelsea?
As we perch on the eve of another war, WHAT ABOUT THESE FUCKING MILITARY CONTRACTORS THAT ARE BLEEDING US DRY AND LEAVING US VULNERABLE?
Anything? No?
O-kay. Vent off (for now)

(13,340 posts)While I certainly agree that Booz was responsible to some extent for this leak, not every military contractor is looking to "bleed us dry." Many of the bigger ones are, but most of the worker bees see themselves as offering some level of service to their country.
I AM one, full disclosure.
Personally, I'd rather use my skills and abilities in service of say, the space program, but that's a much smaller pot of money. We bid on NASA contracts as much as possible, but sadly, that's a much smaller pie.

(10,291 posts)While you may be a 'worker bee with the very best of intentions' MANY of those contractors (and I am singling out Booz Allen because Snowden happened under THEM) are indeed bleeding us dry and leaving us more vulnerable. It is a waste of resources and treasure, no matter how you slice it.
Edward Snowden happened under THEM.
Oh, and welcome to DU

It is back to business as usual I guess. Much easier to talk about people then the corporations/institutions that made them. Nobody has control over the MIC/CIA.
Anyway, who cares right?
Let's talk more about SnowGreen!
