Akron (OH) parents with two sons in the military nervous about growing crisis in Syria

Posted: 08/27/2013

AKRON, Ohio - Pictures and patriotism are proudly on display at Kelvington Auto Service in East Akron. The owners, Earl and Sharon Kelvington, have two sons in the military.

Luke Kelvington, 32, is a lieutenant commander in the Navy and has served on a nuclear submarine. Michael Kelvington, 30, is a captain in the Army. His wife, Meg, is also an Army captain.

Luke graduated from the Naval Academy in 2005. Michael graduated the next day from West Point. The brothers have completed multiple tours of duty, some in Iraq and Afghanistan.

"I think every military family is hoping we don't get involved in anything else," Sharon Kelvington said.
