I'm so sick of the wigs and weaves - it's a nice political statement from 'the help'.

She said as much on the red carpet.

The wig/weave thing also leaves me cold. She smart to go authentic with this look. When she speaks tonight, people will be paying attention. She's doing everything right.

because she hates the white, male, republicons who are trying to turn back the clock on women's healthcare. as told the criers: they are white men, and there is nothing "racist" about saying that. and furthermore, white male political hegemony has been the truth in this country since its inception...and it still is. only recently have things begun to change.
these truths may be ugly, but i'm gonna tell 'em

is racist i could understand if our political system wasn't STILL dominated by white men, but given the reality...i don't get it. i could understand it if issa's religious freedom panel wasn't comprised of all white men. i could comprehend it if all the republicons candidates debating women's healthcare were not all white men. i still don't get it.

Hi, I'm a white woman and I have real thick, curly hair that I am lucky to have.

Are weaves like cornrows or thin braids?

thank you for the cultural guidance.

Viola Davis does look great in her natural hair.

Mostly Indian and Thai hair these days. Think of parting your hair, and attaching a strip of hair near the scalp.
