but unfortunately, most Americans, in and out of Hurricane alley or tornado alley, are deniers of climate change. It's easy to blame people like Paul Ryan and John Boehner, but no politician is suggesting and no large segment of the public is pushing for, any kind of radical policy changes to deal with what is supposedly a very severe problem.

so I think people care.
But, on some level, it still baffles me how something that effects everyone was turned into a partisan issue.

I feel sorry for the next few generations as the tipping point may well have been reached already.
