(4,840 posts)as well as having no representative at today's event. There should be no controversy here. Guy wanted people of all races to unite. How is that controversial today? Repubs couldn't at least throw together something about unity and at least pretend they believed it?

But granting both of them a pass, every living Democratic president was there and not one of the two living Bush presidents.
To me, this wasn't a partisan event. The Republicans should have sent a delegate.
