I know vlad the impaler is the picture. But I don't know what Impaler is a pun for or the context of the "I hardly know her". Sounds familiar to me though. Like I should know.

(i.e. the "plural" of martinus would be martini). The other two are font types ("serf" for "serif&quot https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sans-serif.

Supposedly, Nikita Krushchev used to tell the joke about someone yelling "Krushchev is an idiot!" That gives it a little extra zip.

Fonts can be serif (like Times Roman) or sans serif (like Arial). There's just an iota of difference between that distinction and the one in the drawing.
