Thomas Roberts almost got it right. Almost.

Kudos to Thomas Roberts (MSNBC) for raising the question about the GOP's glaring absence at the MLK50 event.

But a big "boo hiss" that he based his query on the false meme of "King was a Republican."

Homework, Thomas. Do your homework!

He asked his panel if MLK Jr. was a registered Republican. Joan and Joy both immediately clarified that MLK Senior was.
