I just realized what's missing in the march to another war

Colin Powell speaking at the UN and showing a sealed container of not really Sarin gas! Damn, this war needs better writers.

And hopefully smarter banner makers. Perhaps, they could put Obama on an aircraft carrier with a sign behind him that says, "Bringing Hope and Change to Syria"!?

Yes, I am angry at Obama and at the drums of war. I'll admit. Been there, done that, got the dead soldiers and the stupid yellow ribbons telling us to support the troops by buying dumb yellow stickers from China.

He's shown that he's not afraid to use force, if necessary, but he also appears quite cautious and reticent to use force. He appears to be waiting on a favorable response and a solid alliance with the U.K. Also good. If the U.K. refuses to authorize the use of force, he has left himself a way out. Also good.

Now, having said all that, if I learn this week-end that the U.S. has launched a unilateral attack, I'll be miffed, but, so far, I think the President has handled the pressure and fought off the dogs of war quite nicely.
