22 random acts of kindness is perfect way to celebrate 22nd birthday

For Syed Muzamil Hasan Zaidi's 22nd birthday, he decided that instead of throwing a party, he would perform 22 random acts of kindness. In this video, which was shot with a few of his friends in Islamabad, Pakistan, in 2012 and trending now, he writes letters, washes windows, gives out ice cream and does many other lovely things. He says, "Let us create a society where even if the governments and corporations work against us, we still have each other. Let us be kind." Watching this young man make an effort to improve the lives of other people on his own birthday just may make your heart swell a little.

but apparently that was redacted?

Many of those random acts seemed to involve money - buying ice cream cones, balloons, flowers, etc. More than just kindness, he was giving money - and time. Sometimes people feel like they have neither of those to spare. Myself, sometimes I feel like I give, give, give to the world and the only thing I get back is a slap in the face. I've even got the useless animal control harrassing me while I volunteer for the Salvation Army.
