Republicans not only remained silent about Bush/Cheney lies leading up to the Iraq war, they were constant and strident cheerleaders for that mess, as our national reputation got thrown in the sewer. Never mind that Barack Obama took care of bin Laden and removed Qaddafi -- Bashir Assad poisons his own people and somehow it's Obama's fault??? And taking measured steps toward an informed and reasonable response places our credibility in question? Really???? Fuck you, GOP. FUCK YOU.

That polling has placed support for action in Syria at 9%. Now, that is more popular than Herpes, but less popular than a trip to the Proctologist. If the GOP is opposing action, they've read the polls and know that action in Syria is less popular than they are.
