Anyone else noticed that the Chicken Hawk Right has morphed into the Anti-War Right?

And how they've been drumming the 'where are all the libruuuuuuuuuuuhls' meme?

It's like they have this cavalier attitude toward there being lives on the line.

Suddenly, they pretend to be 'anti-war' when really they just want to be 'anti-Obama'.

of BushCo now. They'd like to smear Obama with the same brush--for political damage, though, not because they give a shit about the military, Syria, etc.

He should get things approved through congress. Lindsey Graham and McCain have been begging him to attack Syria since the beginning.

The long straws get to push for military intervention (though Obama is doing it all wrong!1!!).

The short straws get to be pauxifists this time.

Y'know, the ones who'd be running US foreign policy if Romney had won in November.

Granted that's not all of them, but those are the ones that count the most, policy-wise.

For the very first time, Americans are united across party in our hatred of the surveillance state. Because of that unity, we have an opportunity for the very first time to push back against unconscionable policy perpetrated on us by the One Percent.

We should learn a lesson from that.

Surely you are not suggesting that Democrats should rally around war because some Republicans are opposing it. It is precisely by getting us to circle the partisan wagons that the One Percent in both parties get their way.

We need every voice of protest possible in order to reverse the entrenched business of warmongering for profit that has corrupted policy decision-making in our government. We need every voice.

All the conservatives I know who cheered war in Iraq are also cheering possible war with Syria. Are right wing pundits against war with Syria?

The libertarian wing is split over bloodlust vs non-interventionism and the teabagaloons can't support anything Obama is for.
