I saw something that really bothered me posted on facebook today

Its a picture of michelle obama and it says something like "like and share if you think my husband and I should hang for treason". It bugs me even if you disagree with the presidents policy to say he has committed treason and that his wife should swing with him disgusts me. What really bugs me is I recently became friends the person because she talked about her love of life and claimed to be into hinduism which is something I want to learn more about.

I think Obama has had more threats against him than any president in recent memory, and this shit needs to stop.

Disgusting! What is wrong with people? And to say two African Americans should be lynched to boot!

That's one reason I don't check in much in FB. I have cousins and people I really like who post that all the time. Well, not as bad as that, but you know what I mean. They post right-wing crap that Snopes debunked 2 years ago.

Her facebook profile is the opposite of the person she claims to be.

...or an incredible psychologist (and note the first part of that word LOL!). I remember when the internet was really taking off and I used to get my news from Yahoo!, then I started reading the comments. When Aaliyah was killed in that plane crash (almost 12 years ago to the day), I read the article and the following comments; they were so horrible I cried and called my mother. I couldn't believe people were that fucking nasty and racist and were showing it at the death of a 22yo Black woman. I didn't read Yahoo! for almost 2 years and I cancelled my accounts with them.
