Iraq: Civil War. Libya: Civil War. Afghanistan: Civil War.

Don't you think it's time we stopped pretending that any of these military incursions were a success?

More than a trillion dollars, countless lives, environmental degradation. Those are not positive outcomes.

Anyone citing any of these as a success, is parroting propaganda.

It does not take a military incursion just sell them some arms, buy some oil, build a pipeline. Every time I hear a Politician ridicule alternative energy you know what they are and whose interests they serve.

Cost is about 1/1000th of what Iraq/Afghanistan each were, and Libya's in much better shape than Afghanistan has been or ever will be.

maybe go ask the majority of Libyans if they are happier now or under the thumb of a madman who proclaimed himself the king of Africa ...

I think racism had something to do with their revolt... for the longest time there has been a mutual distrust against 'darker Africans' and the lighter skinned 'Africans'... the light skin folks in libya don't consider themselves African , rather arab... youd be surprised how much of a big deal it is to them..

so when ole 'bomb an air plane in a terrorist action' man surrounded himself with two rather big (and oh no, black!) body guards and proclaimed himself king of all Africa... well.. that just wasn't going to fly.
