We commit this awful, horrendous error in judgment, with disastrous consequences, because it is the right thing to do, and because we are required to do something this stupid. The world can always count on the United States to commit grave strategic errors that harm our security and international stability when the situation calls for it.

God bless America. Now watch this drive."

and criticize Obama for anything he does.

If he attacks Syria, they will criticize. If he doesn't attack Syria, they will criticize.

Them voting on Syria would put them in the awkward position of having to actually take a position and they don't want to do that.

I haven't seen any sign of them wanting to do anything but flap their lips. Some signed a letter. But they don't have to wait for President Obama to call them back. Co-equal branches of government, you know.

And lead to an attack on Israel which is likely to draw us farther into the conflict. I don't want to see more civilians or American soldiers die. And maybe it's cold, but I don't want to finance more war.
