Iraq and Afghanistan were NOT in a civil war but who are now because of our intervention.

So yeah. Not at all alike that way.

However the civil war that's raging across all of these places now is remarkably similar....

And what do they all have in common? Oh yeah, "foreign intervention" (mostly US)

9. Actually Iraq did use chemical weapons. They gassed the Kurds in the north and also Iranian targets

and when they used it in Iran, we gave them the coordinates to strike knowing full well they were gassing people. The world response to the thousands gassed to death? Nothing. Ronald Reagan sent Don Rumsfeld to shake Saddam's hand 4 months after he gassed the Kurds. Our reaction was to help the use the gas, then congratulate them.
But don't let the facts get in the way of that which you came to sell.
