This is extraordinary and it does set a precedent. It does reduce the power of the office of the Presidency through that new precedent.

Branch power grip. Is it old-fashioned to believe that BOTH the Executive Branch and the Legislative Branch still have to answer to we citizen voters? This is not the Lord of the Manor and His Court vs. the Peons any longer.
