Yesterday I let my emotions on issues regarding Syria get the best of me and was rude to people and suggested things even I don't believe. So my apologies to everyone for being rude and letting emotions conquer reason

(2,670 posts)I knew deep down military action wasn't the answer but yesterday all I could think about were the horror of the video shown and how I wanted someone punished

(62,325 posts)the news reports on Fallujah. And I still remember Bush's statement after he stole the second election and Kerry conceded so quickly. That was a devastating time for Democrats. I recall Bush gloating about how he had 'Political Capital' and how he was 'going to use it'.
I shuddered for the people of Iraq when I heard that. And then they went to Fallujah and slaughtered untold numbers of people men, women and children there, and used White Phosphorous. A few brave Photo Journalists who were risking their lives, fro OUR Government, to show the world the victims. IT was horrific. I was more angry than I can ever remember.
The latest reports from Fallujah show that it was not just those tragic victims we saw in the photos, and which was acknowledged by the US Military, but the next Generation is being born with horrific deformities.
And the US wants to censor this and refuses to hold the War Criminals accountable.
That makes the US, as was mentioned in the British Parliament yesterday, the last country to be making these 'judgements' and declaring hypocritically that 'we won't tolerate this' when they have EXONERATED the Bush gang for the countless war crimes they committed against the Iraqi people.

(21,115 posts)WASHINGTON The Pentagon has spent more than a decade trying to develop weapons to neutralize chemical weapons, the threat that has the United States poised to launch a missile strike on Syria, according to military planning documents and officials.
The weapons, which would be attached to a bomb dropped from an aircraft, are supposed to neutralize chemical weapons where they are produced or stored.

(2,670 posts)To neutralize the weapons they'd have to hope every little detail went right to avoid a complete catastrophe . That's hoping for alot in a real world environment especially since they can't get it right most of the time in tests.

(22,000 posts)QB have come back from such a situation, so it is possible he'll play eventually. KISS just bought an arena football team. Nah, I don't think that would work out.

(27,137 posts)Maybe for who you were. But that's only something you'd know.
But even under those circumstances you'd still be blaming yourself for a time when you didn't know any better.
Forgive yourself and move on. Life's an adventure. Not a process. There is no ''right way'' to do it. It's how one grows, psychically.
No one is any ''one'' thing. Life is a dynamic process of constant becoming.

(2,670 posts)situations better. But my opinion on Syria yesterday was formed on nothing more than pure emotion after seeing a video of the aftermath of the chemical weapons. So all I felt was an emotional response of someone needs to pay. While doing that insulted people and said they didn't care about people dying.

(27,137 posts)It's okay for emotions to be ''wrong'' one minute and ''right'' the next. That's what they're there for. We use them to figure out life by how it makes us ''feel.'' Just like we use our eyes to see where we're going, when we're traipsing down a darkened path.
The key is to grow from it all and just leave it when we've learned all we can from it. Once you can't learn any more from these lessons, it's time to let them go. And then you go on to the next ''life lesson.''
- Take care.
