General Discussion
Related: Editorials & Other Articles, Issue Forums, Alliance Forums, Region ForumsI drove about 30 miles through southeastern Ohio today,
and I saw plenty of signs for people running for County Recorder, County Commissioner, and the like. I didn't see a single sign for any of the clowns running in the Republican primary. Considering the primary is in eight days, does this suggest something about Republican enthusiasm, at least in my area?

(25,183 posts)and I would be surprised NOT to see signs related to the Rethug primary. I do have to say, that people east of the Mississippi don't seem to 'celebrate' elections with signage like they do in the Pacific Northwest.

(912 posts)way less signs than I am used to, and not even the barrage of commercials that I expected. Guess I will get double bombarded in October and early November though. Not even a robo call about the election either, now that I think about it. And there are some Obama 2012 bumper stickers up here in my neck of the woods also.

(25,183 posts)I expected some pre-Super Tuesday activity, but your comment leads me to believe that I might be a bit disappointed. I know Noot is working that state pretty hard, he needs a win outside of the South to be considered viable, but my expectation is that ST will finish him off.

(18,219 posts)I have seen zero signs for presidential campaign. I have seen the same thing that you have seen---all local races.
Interesting. Zero signs equals zero enthusiasm. Good.
