Exit poll shows De Blasio (NYC) has wide appeal.

NY1News is reporting results of an exit poll of 2000 voters.

With a woman candidate in the race De Blasio carried women's vote.

With an Afro-American in the race he carried Afro-American vote.

With open lesbian in the race he carried LGBT vote.

And his stance on 'stop-and-frisk' and taxing the rich made him
agree with a majority of Democratic voters.
