Such people are selfish and think only of themselves. I had a boss who used to say that and she was terrible. And she was wrong. She ended up getting fired, because she just didn't know what the hell she was doing. It was a terrible event for our department and for the organization.

I like whistleblowers but this saying can be used to justify people who are out of control and doing damage. I've seen it happen. Beware!
