But gird your loins - just read where Pallone is going to ask for some of the Sandy funds to rebuild the boardwalk in his district. The Republicants in this state are going to have a field day with that. Never mind the homeowners who are still suffering almost a year later. Tough one. Just glad no one was hurt physically yesterday.

Most properties are insured against fire. Hurricanes? Not so much. Especially in NJ.

But tey can't carry that much. Land wise - NJ is teeny tiny. At the end of a nine month home buying endeavor - a lot of NJ - is now a flood zone. The insurance will kill you.
