NO FLUSH orders...

This from the City of Evans, Colorado (south side of Greeley in Weld County)

ATTENTION ALL RESIDENTS EAST OF 35th AVENUE:

Due to flood damage the 1st Avenue Waste Water Treatment is out of service. The City of Evans is calling a MANDATORY DO NOT FLUSH! Please refrain from all use of the waste water system. Staff anticipates the system to be down for a minimum of 10 days. Please stay tuned for more information as it becomes available.

and this really, really sucks if you've ever had to do it for more than a day or two.

and yes, it's pretty horrible. My guess is that they will find an alternative before the treatment plant is repaired.

It does still work!

I lived on a houseboat for a few years...every time the mascorator broke--which was often--I wanted to kill myself. One day of non-flushing was torture, I cant imagine 3 days let alone 10. Hope you're right about finding another solution.
