Should I change any of my settings, and if so how, or is it not that big of a deal?
Thanks

(27,509 posts)it keeps a search history if you're logged into Google, YouTube, or Google desktop.
You have to make turn them off seperately.
You can view your search histories,
I decided to leave mine enabled.
I'm not sure of the details, see http://www.eff.org

(34,845 posts)...there IS no privacy on the Internet. It's a system that was designed to communicate with the world and yet keep out the 'bad guys', two diametrically opposed goals.
Just do the routine stuff and don't post anything you don't want anyone else to see.
