This photo was from Friday. Three other horses swam to safety. Yesterday, the water went down enough to drop food on some spots of land. About 400 people have been rescued from Lyons, which is totally surrounded by water.
Fort Carson soldiers are helping tremendously in helping to rescue people.
It's raining again today.

Glad you're ok and hope that status remains for you. These are scenes we in dry, parched CA can only imagine....we could sure use some of that water. You guys have had enuf!

My boyfriend is laying old rain gutters along our property so our yard stops draining into our neighbor's house. Hoping it will divert the water into the street.
