So long as people are raising claims of murder here on the right, let us propose an hypothesis which actually makes a bit of sense --- that in order to minimize exposure to disgrace and financial harm, the money-men behind Breitbart's activities pulled the plug on their creature, before he could reach open court and the witness stand....

(8,556 posts)Really? The data don't agree with you:

In 2007, heart disease was the number one cause of death for the non-Hispanic white population. Murder was number twenty-two. Heart disease accounted for 25.9 percent of all such deaths that year. Murder accounted for 0.3 percent. So that means someone like Breitbart is approximately 90 times more likely to die of heart disease than to be murdered.

(11,175 posts)The executor of Breitbart's estate would take over handling the suit. If Sherrod wins, a judgment in her favor would be a claim against the estate.
Of course, without Breitbart around to continue earning income, the claim might turn out to be worth little or nothing in dollar terms. Sherrod probably sued in large part for vindication, though, and she can still get that.

(12,504 posts)It would be interesting to see Breibart's financial standings.....and his life insurance standings.
A law suit may have put the "prior" scenario into a horrid situation that the "latter" scenario was able to resolve.

(11,155 posts)I thought his father-in-law was acting as spokesman for the family and that Breibart was seen falling by someone who called it in to 911.
SUrprised me that Orson Bean was his father-in-law and that Orson Bean's father was one of the founders of the ACLU. But well Orson is a Conservative.

(31,706 posts)While I've been getting a kick out of all the tin foil flying around, a close look at the dude shows that he may have been the one who "did him in". That video recently of him screaming at OWS protesters at CPAC looked like a guy out of control. It's been reported he was a heavy partier and one could see how disheveled he looked how poorly he took care of himself. Natural causes? Sure...he had a heart attack. Now...what triggered that attack...now there's your conspiracy!
