Does anyone else find it Ironic? Two Deaths two different reaction.

Davey Jones --Probably someone no one was expecting to die yesterday and when he did a lot of people felt the loss and deeply upset.

To today's news that Andrew Britebart died and people have no love loss people can't wait to dance on the gave and other things to it.

Wonder which funeral Westboro will protest? (or was that too mean?)

I'm not all about "grave dancing" but Davey Jones didn't seem to be a bad guy and his music made people happy. His loss brought back memories of younger days for a lot of folks, myself included.

The loss of someone who spewed hate brings back memories of what they have produced in the world.

After losing a Monkee and a Neanderthal the "rule of 3" might claim a Gorilla next. I hope people are keeping a close eye on her.

Hope the "Finding Bigfoot" team doesn't accidentally shoot the big guy!

Breitbart tried to destroy my joy as an adult.

I have no qualms about my reaction to each of their passings.

Jones wasn't an active vandal to public discourse, nor a willful smear-monger and character-assassin. The worst thing you could say about Jones was that the Monkees were "Beatles lite", and really, who cares enough about that to hold it against him?

That sort of thing makes a difference.

The Monkees were strictly a money-making project of Don Kirschner. He saw "A Hard Day's Night" and realized he could make dough by copying the film & turning it into a weekly sitcom.

The satire of the Beatles was "The Rutles" by the Python folks.

Pop singer, entertainer, 60s icon, popular with children and teens in his day, never did anyone any harm that we know of... People will be sad.

Liar, hate-spewer, knife-twister, discord-sower, helped to make life more miserable for victims of the right wing in general...People will not be sad.

They have nothing in common at all besides the closeness of their death dates.
