I'm trying to figure out how they fake all those photos and video of melting glaciers.

Do they hire a bunch of illegals to aim hair dryers at them for days, or is it all CGI effects?

Here in Michigan, last year we had a ton of snow, all winter long. This winter, there has been no substantial snow and mild temperatures all season long. Today was 43 degrees, sunny, almost spring-like.

Here in Anchorage we've had almost twice as much snow as normal (almost 120 inches) and are only 13 inches off from the record snowfall for an entire season, with two snowy months, March and April, left. We would be more than happy to share with you guys.

12. Weather not equal to Climate
Thu Mar 1, 2012, 07:56 PM
Mar 2012

Weather is what's happening outside right now. You know. Rain, snow, sunshine, warm today cold tomorrow, tornado on the way somewhere, hurricane somewhere else, or just a nice sunny day. That's weather.

Climate is something entirely different. While weather is local, climate is global. Yes, climate can affect weather. But just because it's warm or cold today or tomorrow doesn't mean that the planet is or isn't warming. (BTW, there's multiple chains of evidence that says it is and almost none that says it isn't.)

I guess we can discuss whether climate change is human driven (it appears that it is, at least in part). Or, what we should do about it (a political issue, one to which intelligent people can find a consensus).

But to outright deny that the planet isn't warming ain't gonna fly at this point. There's just too much evidence to the contrary.

In past periods of global climate change, it has usually taken much longer periods of time. I do think we have contributed to it. The sheer tonnage of gases we have added to the atmosphere has to have added an effect (much more rapid that nature could have added otherwise).

cannot stay without repercussions. My roses were flowering in december for a third time. Now they look dead. Just anecdotal, I know.
I also remeber the white-nose-diseased bats that had to do with the weird wheather.

Our ecosystem and especially food supply depends on all sort of small critters.

Just saying, you are not alone in your fears.

I counter that with gardening (which reminds me it's potato planting time).

I've lived in Buffalo my whole life. We had no snow (well, maybe an inch or two) this whole winter. It's crazy. I'm already seeing insects hatching outside. What is going on? We had no winter in Buffalo, the lake didn't even freeze and it's supposed be 60 degrees this week.

I feel robbed. I love to curl up on the couch and watch the snow fall.

If that trend continues, you can kiss the food chain goodbye, at least the one we're used to.

WASHINGTON (Reuters) - The world's oceans are turning acidic at what could be the fastest pace of any time in the past 300 million years, even more rapidly than during a monster emission of planet-warming carbon 56 million years ago, scientists said on Thursday.

If you're not being sarcastic, look at the overall picture. Something isn't right about the whether. I think its either being caused by C02 emissions or chemtrails as a desperate effort to curb climate change or both.
