Even more troubling for Holloway is the fact that he offered parents the chance to make amends for the estimated $20,000 in damage caused to his house, including smashed windows and glass doors, urinated carpets, holes in the ceilings, as well as a stolen eagle statue that was part of a memorial for his stillborn grandson.

Elitist assholes.

And yes, this can be a huge problem down the road, these kids may think later in life that they can get away with even worse.
The time to hold them accountable is now, before they possibly move on to worse crimes.

and then took me back to the house to formally apologize the the owner and help clean up the mess.
Seems to be no accountability these days.
If these kids posted these pictures, I don't think the parents have much of a case, I hope they get laughed out of court and get a stern lecture from the judge on holding their kids accountable for the damage.

where they would have been every single day until that house was cleaned up they would have told you that they would have been at his house cleaning it up even if they were the only two who showed up to do it.

I do not understand parents like this. Do they want their kids to learn anything or are they ok with watching them fuck up from now until they die? I guess we know the answer just from the fact that they did this.

Privileged kids without good social values become privileged grown ups with no social value.

7. privilege really doesnt make a difference, you see the same thing in poor schools and neighborhoods

My cousin is a teacher in one and almost ANY time a parent gets called to the school the parent gets loud and defends the child. Even in cases of violence.
And where i live, the "rich" make maybe a 100k a year, and you see the same stuff here in our public schools. Fortunately, here the rich kids and the poor kids go to public school. Nearest private one is 20 miles away. But its so hard to discipline a kid now because of the parents.

10. I actually meant privilege

differently than just rich. Anyone allowed to act out and have their parents come to their rescue no matter what age, wealth status etc is someone growing up with privilege. No accountability is privilege.

Still, I get what you mean. I saw it when my kids went to school. The reckoning, if there ever is one, will be hard for them at an older age.
