Okay, NPR just repeated the fucking lie about ACORN (re: Breitbart)

They talked about the "embarrassing videotape that showed the group offering advice to a couple dressed as a pimp and a prostitute". This Breitbart/O'Keefe horseshit was completely debunked almost immediately after it had surfaced!

to the audio report if you just scroll down a bit on this page...

I guess the thing that disgusted me the most was that this was included as a "great accomplishment" of his, when it should have been used to illustrate what an incredibly duplicitous and deceitful asshole he was.

their response to my challenge, "how could we know?'

Go down to the Occupy site and spend a few hours with them... preferably at least 20 and at least five GA's.

Kinda like a certain political party that didn't used to be full of Reagan-loving Republicans, but now is. I stopped listening to both of them and now I feel a whole lot better!

The house voted 345-75 to defund ACORN..

Only 75 *Democrats* voted to save ACORN, clearly the other Democrats and all the Republicans believed the tale, they certainly voted as if they believed it..

Why should NPR be more accurate than the Democratic party about something that was once of great benefit to the Democratic party?

I'm not even mildly surprised by this.

They went reich-wing a while back, a choice they made and must live with. I don't believe a word ever said on NPR, I can't. Sure, some "stories" may be true but NPR has lost all credibility.
