How Would America Look If GOP Got Its Way On Everything?

If you add up everything the GOP has spouted over time and carried out the results to the logical end what would the US look like? What policies would be in place?

Why do I ask? That is because I am losing track of their pronouncements there are so many. And I would like to know. I am curious about other perspectives.

Gays would either be expelled or put to death per Virginia Foxx.
.
There would be no minimum wage. High schoolers would be paid 80 cents an hour to work at McDonalds. (and food at a discount of course).
.
And it would be against the law to laugh if you make under 1 million dollars.

There would be a privileged minority of uncaring aristocrats at the top and a suffering
majority of peasants at the bottom end of the scale to whom death would be a blessing.

have it slaughtered and "processed" there, and ship it back to the US, now as of August 31.2013. Woo hoo, 46 year old chicken, rat and god only knows what here we come entering our food supply.

Not necessarily a bad thing. The bane of the GOP is power. Nothing makes them politically weaker than to impose their will. Nothing exposes their shitty policies more than when they actually attempt to implement them.

Real change won't happen until most people are genuinely pissed off. Pissed off enough to coopt the Democratic Party or create a new one if the financial moguls prove to be too far imbedded.

It will inevitably happen regardless of which party is in power. It will just take double the time with the corporate Democrats in charge.

They'd simply give all the crooks at the top "Capitalist" titles instead of "Socialist" titles. But it would be much the same rotten system. Our leaders wouldn't be capitalists, not any more than the Soviet leaders were socialists. Most of them would be kleptocrats seeing what they could take for themselves.

So I guess we'd be seeing most of us DU dissidents in the Alaskan Prison Colonies, if we lived that long, those of us who weren't spies and snitches.

Unregulated Businesses, Right to Work for less laws, Crappy Public Schools, repressed minorities and women, Mega Churches and Corporate Prisons everywhere.

Todays GOP Controlled South is the rest of America's Nightmare,. Unfortunately it is what the majority of voters in the southern States want. I do not think it can be changed when so many are happy living under corporate control seeing that they vote for it election after election for over 30 years now.

“This is America. People do whatever the fuck they feel like doing, you got a problem with that? Because they have a right to. And because they have guns and no one can fucking stop them.”
― Neal Stephenson, Snow Crash

“When it gets down to it — talking trade balances here — once we've brain-drained all our technology into other countries, once things have evened out, they're making cars in Bolivia and microwave ovens in Tadzhikistan and selling them here — once our edge in natural resources has been made irrelevant by giant Hong Kong ships and dirigibles that can ship North Dakota all the way to New Zealand for a nickel — once the Invisible Hand has taken away all those historical inequities and smeared them out into a broad global layer of what a Pakistani brickmaker would consider to be prosperity — y'know what? There's only four things we do better than anyone else:
music
movies
microcode (software)
high-speed pizza delivery”
― Neal Stephenson, Snow Crash

17. The Handmaid's Tale

The Handmaid's Tale is set in the near future in the Republic of Gilead, a theocratic military dictatorship formed within the borders of what was formerly the United States of America. It was founded by a racist, homophobic, Christian nativist-derived, theocratic-organized cult's military coup as an ideologically driven response to the country's ecological, physical and social degradation.

Beginning with a staged terrorist attack (blamed on Islamic extremist terrorists) that kills the President and most of Congress, a movement calling itself the "Sons of Jacob" launches a revolution and suspends the United States Constitution under the pretext of restoring order. They are quickly able to take away all of women's rights, largely attributed to financial records being stored electronically and labelled by gender. This allows the new rulers to freeze women's bank accounts (the story also takes place in a future of a cashless society utilizing electronic money which leaves them with no funds after this), then outlaw employing them. The new regime moves quickly to consolidate its power and reorganize society along a new militarized, hierarchical, compulsorily cult-Christian regime of selectively skewed Old Testament-inspired social and religious ultra-conservatism among its newly created social classes. In this society, almost all women are forbidden to read.

You'd have the shunning of intellectualism, hyperinflation and surveillance state from Idiocracy, the fundamentalism from Handmaid's Tale, and the labor policies from The Jungle.

Food Stamps, Medicare, Social Security, and any government assistance that does not assist banks, the MIC, oil companies or major corporation.

But in order for you to feel good about it they will give you the right to own any gun you want.

Hmm what happens when you have a starving, unemployed, well armed populace? Ask Syria.
