(47,675 posts)Most of the OT "shalt nots" were for health and general human social interaction. WTF is up with the wool/linen thing? Anybody know?

(22,758 posts)that mixed wool and linen (or possibly another combination), when the garment is washed, the fabric (or fibers) shrink, or don't, differently. That could create a very unseemly look to the garment. Now, as a crafter of garments... it can also create a very unique and hip look but that wouldn't have been appreciated thousands of years ago!!
