And warn them that their Party is threatening to shut down our government. They need to get on their emails and their telephones and talk to their Representatives. Otherwise, we are headed for a default.

Appeal to the moderate, rational Republican voter. Just a "one-on-one" with a kind of "Look, this is what will happen if..." Use examples from recent history.

With their overwhelming capacity for empathy, they want to affect people's lives, those nasty moochers / blacks / browns / immigrants / libtards / perverts / feminazis / whoever.

You cannot reason with this level of crazy. They only except "truth" from people they regard as authorities, and a black Democratic President is not on that list.

President Obama can't respect the debt limit. It will set up a constitutional crisis (and imo the debt limit will eventually be declared unconstitutional, per the 14th Amendment), the whacks in the House will vote to impeach--imagine the graphics of that! The Senate will not vote to convict, and boom! The House melts down and the mid-terms will be upon us.

That's the only way this will be over: the crazies will be outvoted and voted out.
