They love the government when it comes to the military, corporate subsidies, and tax subsidies.

They love their government pensions. Their constituents love their government programs like Social Security and Medicare.

They believe in government-just not a government that favors ALL the people.

they're cool with government when it comes time to get inside a woman's uterus or block certain people from voting. It's just that they're nothing but filthy haters who are only behaving like this to spite a (Black) president of the opposite party.

The Rs do not believe in a single, human community that operates by consensus. They are against democratic government, but they are not against authority. They believe in a society where an elite few in government, corporations, religion, and other institutions have all the power and all the resources. Rather than demanding rights from them, the rest of us would need to be satisfied by charity or favors extended by the grace of the rulers.
