We've come full circle if the Republicans now = anarchists when
anarchists = the Occupy movement!
Edit: this was just on Piers Morgan from an interview with Reid by Dana Bash

(36,745 posts)There seems to be a dark "nothingness" to how they operate.
Just my opinion.
flamingdem
(39,313 posts)He has to chose carefully since "anarchists" was labeled as over the top rhetoric.
Maybe he'll revert to spoiled children.

(5,714 posts)They love the government when it comes to the military, corporate subsidies, and tax subsidies.
They love their government pensions. Their constituents love their government programs like Social Security and Medicare.
They believe in government-just not a government that favors ALL the people.
flamingdem
(39,313 posts)They are in lock step with one another, that's for sure.
I love how they justify their destruction by saying the founding fathers allowed for strategies like theirs to keep government in balance.
I'd pretty much call them con artists.

(39,313 posts)since they just bend rules and undermine order to fit their reactionary asshole goals. Maybe desperate fits in too.

(2,736 posts)Grifters is what they are. Whatever "ideological" ruse they espouse, their bottom line always ends up lining their own pockets carrying water for some lobbyist.
flamingdem
(39,313 posts)I hope Harry uses that instead of anarchist.
Though .. grifters are sneaky and slink off into the night. This crew is aggressive and blunt.

(13,258 posts)They're fascists who wear hoods and robes. They need a leader; a strong father figure.
They would "heil, hitler" all over their burning crosses and start lynching everyone they hate.
Looks like I have to write him another letter. I hate that. I have to be so restrained.

(10,893 posts)they're cool with government when it comes time to get inside a woman's uterus or block certain people from voting. It's just that they're nothing but filthy haters who are only behaving like this to spite a (Black) president of the opposite party.

(39,154 posts)The Rs do not believe in a single, human community that operates by consensus. They are against democratic government, but they are not against authority. They believe in a society where an elite few in government, corporations, religion, and other institutions have all the power and all the resources. Rather than demanding rights from them, the rest of us would need to be satisfied by charity or favors extended by the grace of the rulers.

(9,288 posts)The LOVE government when it comes to oppressing minorities, women, and homosexuals. They love war, the military, and creating a police state.
They are selfish authoratarian bigoted fascists! They are radical regressionist determined to turn this country into a totalitarian theonomy.
