... "back pay"? I thought you were talking about another of those "exception" bills crafted by the house, like the National Parks bill.

As far as back pay I'm very cool with that but I want Obama to stand firm and not make this easy for the pukes by undoing the shutdown a bit at a time.

What they've wanted all along is the ability to pick and choose which parts of the government they will fund. Nobody gets to do that, at least not a faction of one party in the House.
