4 children, 1 adult struck at bus stop in Townsend, Del.
TOWNSEND, Del. - October 4, 2013 (WPVI) -- Four children and one adult were struck by a vehicle Friday morning in Townsend, Delaware.
State Police responded to the scene around 8:00 a.m. in front of Frederick's Trailer Lodge on Route 13.
Preliminary information indicates that a DART bus and another vehicle collided in the southbound lane of Route 13, and a vehicle from that collision struck children waiting for their bus.
All five victims were transported to area hospitals. The adult was admitted to Christiana Hospital as a trauma code.
The condition of the children is not clear at this time.
