Have you visited your US Representatives local office?

Just this week I visited my US Reps office for the first time. I've phoned in a few messages from time to time to the Washington DC office but never visited in person. This office was opulent by the standards of the city it is located in and I was surprised it didn't seem to belong. The staff was inattentive and I felt I was interrupting their private conversation. My comment over the obstructionism of the Republican party and the Reps current support were reluctantly written down.

Perhaps the behavior was because we were holding a RIP GOP vigil outside the office proclaiming our disbelief over the temper-tantrum they are pulling on capitol hill. Disrupting other peoples lives with their bulling tactics to show just how angry they are that they couldn't persuade the country at large that the ACA is anti American.

Have you visited your rep and left a message. What were your impressions of the office and how your message was received?

While there, we visited our reps office. She had her picture taken sitting at our reps desk as well as other places in the office.

She remembers this visit and has mentioned it several times even though she was only 8 or so at the time.

Not a local office visit, but a memorable DC one. The staff there were terrific. Make us feel very much at home.
