Boehner shouts "This isn't some damn game! The American people don't want their government shut down and neither do I."
Cantor saying "The American people have seen Obamacare isn't ready for prime time (talking about website).....the President continues to refuse to sit down with us Republicans, and sadly, that is a hallmark of his Presidency."
Fucking lying pieces of shit!!! They are really trying damage control, and it's not working.
ETA: they want to open FEMA and Head Start, etc.
I HATE THEM.

(8,217 posts)Republicans are crowding the air waves.
I still think it needs to be repeated hard the following:
Republicans wasted around 60.9 Million at 42 attempts costing about 1.45Mil each try to repeal Obamacare.

http://miami.cbslocal.com/2013/05/16/obamacare-repeal-votes-costs-tens-of-millions/
--They could have used that time and money for other more critical votes.
--It has been ruled constitutional by the Supreme Court.
--They need to make a running total of this.
Repeal of Obamacare/ACA would cost 109 Billion in deficit.
http://politicalticker.blogs.cnn.com/2013/09/25/fact-check-repealing-obamacare-adds-to-deficit/
They also do not talk about how the infrastructure for the ACA has been in place, and the fact that Insurance Companies already have their rates set with the ACA considered. That would have caused a great big mess if defunding comes to pass.
That is why they are trolls. They have no idea how to look for other factors and the repercussions of their actions.

(8,217 posts)I don't know, I tend to think that some people would fall for it unless people actually disabuse them of that notion.
I also think that if you allow someone else to dominate the message they will brainwash them.
I mean, granted at times they would be digging a deeper hole...
It just upsets me hearing them say over and over "Democrats are not negotiating, they don't compromise". They are just sticking to that message, and it is simple enough to stick.
I guess, I just want to hear another message.
