majority rule in the Senate - it's now considered 'normal' to require 60 votes.

If they can do the same thing in the House, allowing the minority to call the shots, they are much more likely to control the entire government agenda even when they don't technically control the Congress or the WH.

I think this is the long game here, Obamacare was just the excuse.

that whole 60 vote deal burns my ass. I'd really like to see a sequential history of it happened. I'm not a diehard political junkie, but I do follow politics, and it just seemed, all of a sudden, the 60 vote requirement was there.
