I owe some people a HUGE apology..

And it is my low information voters and citizenry as I usually label them locally.

I live in Steve King country in Iowa..and when King and Bachmann did that stunt on the 1st with the WW2 vets.. I said, well there are people who do not pay attention that are going to think these guys are some kind of heroes.

Well I am sorry sorry sorry.. they were paying attention.. and they are making their displeasure known for pulling such a stunt on right after shutting down the goverment. Then (King, Bachmann and company) acted like they wanted this open..after they voted it shut.

People are not stupid. They choose to be republicans for some reason, that is beyond me.. but they make that choice. Does not even mean they are low information.

And then to have that other congresscritter attack a park ranger who has no control over anything after HE VOTED TO SHUT THE WW2 MONUMENTS DOWN .. was like salt on an open wound for some republicans.

Steve King and Michelle Bachmann you truly truly screwed the pooch with your constituency with that stunt.

workers as the helpless foils for their own crimes. Disgusting.

Let us know if there is a change in hearts in that district. My father was in WW2 and he'd have died twice if he saw what these people are doing, in his name.

I despise these grifters with every fiber of my being.

Dad passed away almost six years ago.. I remember putting up his memorial here in the old DU and getting such wonderful support from people. But he would be mortified to see his compatriots in arms being used this way.. It is beyond shameful.
