to be primaried or afraid to lose his speakership or that he wont let a credit default happen or claim that he really cares but the crazies are making him do what he is doing.. IMO, he is now the leader of the crazy far-right and has the same goals as any of the teabaggers-to crash the government and the economy with a default and then blame the President. He is doing what he believes is right.

(15,238 posts)I do wonder if he were to resign Democrats and some almost sane Republicans could replace him with a mutually agreed on choice? After 2014 the modern majority party rules might return.
